Plusieurs accords de financement signés au forum Tchad-Monde Arabe

Le forum Tchad-Monde Arabe, officiellement ouvert le 26, s’achève ce vendredi 28 juin.

Une opportunité pour l’État tchadien de promouvoir le potentiel commercial du Tchad, la première édition dudit rendez-vous de haut niveau s’est close avec la signature de plusieurs accords évalués à des centaines de millions de dollars.

Le forum a été marqué dès le premier jour par une signature d’un accord tripartite de 216 millions de dollars entre les gouvernements du Tchad, de la Chine, et l’entreprise internationale de télécommunications, Huawei, pour la modernisation des infrastructures de la Société tchadienne des télécommunications (SOTEL). 

Il s’ensuivit, un autre accord entre le gouvernement tchadien et opérateurs économiques égyptiens.

En effet, il s’agit d’un mémorandum d’entente avec la société égyptienne Middle East for Training and Consulting (METC), portant sur, la production de l’eau, l’énergie renouvelable, les mines et sciences.

Le coût de cette coopération n’a pas été relevé par les deux parties, mais d’après des analyses préliminaires, s’évalue aussi à quelques millions de dollars.

Le forum Tchad-Monde Arabe, ouvert à N’Djamena le 26 juin dernier, est la première édition d’une série de rencontres dédiées aux investissements.
